Oral Surgery

Unfortunately most people do not have enough room for their third molars (wisdom teeth) to erupt fully where they are functional and accessible for cleaning. Dr. Wershler performs a lot of extractions and not every patient requires a referral to an oral surgeon to have these removed. The fees charged by any specialist are substantially higher than those charged by a general dentist, and the difference is not covered by dental insurance. We are happy to assess your case to see if we can perform your extractions here. Again, if it is beyond our scope, we have trusted oral surgeons partners that we can refer you to.
